The context of a scientific investigation brings science to life and allows children to practice science skills such as observing, exploring and asking questions.
A crime has been committed and the class must work together to piece together the evidence.
Someone has broken into the school safe and stolen the cake sale money! Our young investigators must tape off the area in order to protect any evidence. Clues and evidence must be identified, collected, interpreted and analysed. These include fingerprints, impressions, hairs and fibres and 'blood', bones and DNA.
Can you solve the mystery?
Take your children back millions of years to discover the wonder of the dinosaurs
Class 1 and 2 had a great morning becoming palaeontologists searching for dinosaur fossils! Thank you to @educationgroup for the fantastic ‘Life Long Ago’ dinosaur workshop!
Our Early Years classes had a fabulous day of workshops with the lovely Joanna from @educationgroup. We had a great introduction to Lunar New Year and we are looking forward to celebrating the year of the rabbit! #eyfs #beingimaginative #YearOfTheRabbit
